Konusu: İki uzman ulusal güvenlik ajanı Hyeong-jun (Byung-hun Lee) ve Sa-woo (Jun-ho Jeong) kankardeşlerdir ve kaderin cilvesi aynı kadına, iş arkadaşları ajan Seung-hee’e aşık olurlar.Sa-woo, Seung-hee’ye karşı hislerini bastırır, arkadaşına mutluluklar diler.

Bundan kısa bir süre sonra Hyeong-jun, Macaristan’a özel bir göreve gönderilir.Görevini başarıyla tamamlar ancak kaçarken yaralanır.Kısa bir süre sonra Hyeong-jun en iyi arkadaşı Sa-woo tarafından tuzağa düşürüldüğünü anlar.Seung-hee, Sa-woo’ya kaçması için yardım ederken trafik kazası geçirirler, birbirlerinden koparlar ve her ikisi de diğerinin öldüğüne inanır.Hyeon-jun gizemli bir ses tarafından kurtarılır ve IRIS adlı gizli bir örgütün varlığını öğrenir.

Bir yıl sonra Hyeon-jun intikam almak için Kore’ye geri döner.Bu süre içerisinde Kuzey ve Güney Kore siyasal birlik haline gelmek üzeredir ve IRIS’ın görevi bu birleşmeyi engelemektir.

Dizi hakkında notlar :

1) IRIS, 20 milyon wonluk bütçesiyle gelmiş geçmiş en pahalı Kore draması.

2) Dizi yüksek teknoloji ve bilgisayar efektleriyle süslenerek Macaristan, Rusya, Japonya, Amerika ve Çin gibi pek çok ülkede çekildi.

3) Dizi, aktör Lee Byeong-Heon’un 2003 SBS yapımı “All In” dizisinden sonraki ilk dizisi.

4) Çekimler Mart 2009′da Japonya’da başladı.

5) Dizinin yayın hakları Japon TBS kanalına 5,300,000,000 won’a ($4.3 milyon dolara)satıldı.
