I was very fortunate to be able to catch the sand festival in Haeundae during my weekend hopper from Seoul. I've seen the sculptures on the news before, and wanted to see for myself what the event is like.



First off, emerging from the subway station, I explored some markets and vibrant streetscapes before heading for the water.













I never dared to take a bus in Korea. The signs didn't mean much to me, and I would be lost for sure.

































Yes, lots of street food as usual!





















I want to have some raspberries now, but I don't see them often in HK!





































Busan's rugged geography and plenty of sea views!





Here's the beach - just as the skies began to clear!
