The 63 Building, comprising of 60 stories above ground and three underneath, rises 264 meters at the eastern end of Yeouido. It is nicknamed ''Golden Tower'' because the entire building shines gold when its glass exterior reflects the sun. The 63 Observatory, located on the 60th floor, provides a panoramic view of Seoul.



















Although the skies seemed blue from the street, it was a very smoggy day in Seoul, so the visibility from the observation deck was quite low. The view was somewhat scary from all the haze.















































It was nearly impossible to see across the Han River :















The floor had a lot of yellow tinted glass, which made the smog look a lot worse :







The observation deck occupies the entire floor, so visitors can see out from all 4 sides to all of Seoul. I'd recommend a visit on a much clearer day. However, the walk to the subway station was quite long, but it was a cool day, so that wasn't a big problem at all.
